Nous avons étudié les dossiers de 94 enfants ayant eu un MAST CLA pour les trophallergènes de 1988 à 1992. 39 CLA étaient positifs, 55 négatifs. 38 dignostics d'allergie alimentaire ont été portés ; 22 enfants ont vu leur symptomatologie (asthme moins souvent qu'eczéma ou urticaire) améliorée par le traitement : éviction des aliments concernés et / ou NOLCRON. La plupart des patients ayant un CLA positif avaient des IGE totales très élevées et une allergie à des pneumallergènes. Le principale risque d'erreur est de faire le diagnostic d'AA par excès en raison des nombreuses polysensibilisations alimentaires retrouvées. C'est pourquoi le CLA doit être suivi de test de provocation par voie orale.
